So this past weekend, I was in the Big Apple (New York City) for a totally fabulous bachelorette party. We kick started with the Sex and City bus tour, run by On Location Tours Inc. Ever since I spied these hanging lamp shades in the “love butterfly” themed wedding look at Confetti, I’ve been thinking about using hanging lamp shades. They need not be lighted as my wedding is a day long affair. In addition, if you painted or sprayed them different colours, that would suffice.

This past weekend, my bridesmaids and I spent making our table name place cards. After much thought about a way to incorporate my fiance’s Chinese heritage, we have decided to use Chinese flowers and a brief description of what the flowers symbolise.
