I saw another quirky idea on a wedding forum. One bride had asked guests to send a picture of themselves and people sent in an assortment, from baby pictures to passport photos. She then put them on standing clips on their table and asked people to find themselves (and their seats) at the wedding. This is a really creative alternative to table arrangements.

I absolutely love this idea and will request guests to send me photos in my invitations. I think it would be a really personal touch and everyone will probably go around the tables to look at other’s photos. For those who don’t (party poopers or just people who cant follow instructions tee hee), they’ll just have to sit at the end tables and arrange themselves! I just want my guests to feel that I have thought about all aspects of my wedding and that I’ve made special effort to make it fun and different.

 I think it will probably be more expensive for me to have them mailed to the UK but I could get some cousins of mine who are coming from America to bring them in their luggage when they arrive for the wedding.
