Questions to ask Photographers

29 June 2008 42 views One Comment

Although its going to be a while before I look for a photographer, I collected a few useful questions to ask photographer. Mind you, you dont want to ask too many questions before he thinks you are too fussy and would be a horrible client:

How long have you been photographing weddings?

Are you insured for Professional Indemnity and Public Liability ?

How many pictures do you take on average ?

How long do you stay at the wedding ?

Do you charge extra for coming to the brides house or staying at the reception ?

Do we meet up at the venue to discuss final arrangements nearer the time of the wedding ?

What happens if you are ill on the day of the wedding?

Are your prices fully inclusive of everything we agree ?

How long afterwards is it before I see my pictures ?

How long does it take after I choose my album prints before the album is ready ?

How do relatives and guests order prints and how much are your reprints ?

How long do you keep the digital files or negatives ?

Can we have colour shots in black and white?

Can we view all your online galleries?

Are digital files kept in more than one place
