So I’ve uploaded photos from the wedding we attended this past weekend. When I arrived and took photos, I saw a photographer with some very impressive lens. I asked him if he was the official photographer for the event and he confirmed he was. A friend of my fiance was standing nearby and asked me “Hmm… you must be stealing ideas… I see you asking for quotes.” I got so mad, I wanted to say “Oh that would be too crass” but I ended up saying “No I’ve already booked my photographer.” I think the more diplomatic thing to do would be to say that something funny like “Yes, Im planning to steal the groom as well.”

Anyways, that was my rant. Here are some photos of the Larmar Tree Gardens. Beautiful venue but shame about the drive from London. It took us about 3 hours to get there and it was in the middle of nowhere because of long winding dusty roads. It has beautiful lawns as evidenced below and I can imagine that the photos will come out brilliant:

The table arrangements: it was very unusual that the table square shaped and seated three on each side. However, this meant bigger room and you could suit 12. Also, I liked how the ribbon on the invitation matched the ribbon on the chair covers. I think that type of detail is very thoughtful. I spoke to my cousin about ribbons and he said his mum would take me to the shop that sells them and that we could bargain it down to such a level that the shop keeper would be crying.

Table arrangements. The flowers were very eclectic but still mirrored the bride’s bonquet. They also put a different flower on each side of the flower jug, I found that a bit strange but other people on the table liked it. I guess it just shows all brides have different tastes.

The wedding cake, looks like something the bakeries at Piccadilly Circus make and tourist take pictures of because they look so beautiful.

Here are photos of people enjoying the buffet. There was roast pig and it was delicious.

I really like the tent in the background. They had cushions for people to relax in. It got a bit too cold. I can imagine having a perfect ‘Mid summers night dream’ style weding in the summer time with these tents and cushions.
