Hanging decorations

There is a wide stretch between the two gardens where the buffet will be served. I’m thinking of decorating the area with some flowers or ribbons in the colours of our wedding.

I just saw this on my other favourite wedding blog and thought it was so lovely and creative to use cloths hanging:

This got me thinking about the flowers in India where they decorate the wedding venues:

I think you’d need to pray for some wind but not too much. A light breeze would make these decorations look amazing!

Okay maybe these people went a bit OTT, but then again Indian weddings are very lavish affairs and people spend their entire savings on that one day or week! I think with the recent ‘credit crunch’ my fiance and I will have to resort to ribbons or these cloth hanging decorations…
