Bridesmaids Colour Scheme

I’m still debating between the Indian sari or the Tibetan dress with out the blouse for the bridesmaid’s dresses. In the mean time, I’ve been thinking of whether all bridesmaids need to wear a uniform colour or if we could mix it up by having them wear slightly similar shades of the same colour, different pastel colours or even all bridesmaids one colour and just the maid of honour in a different hue.
Here are some to get you thinking:

Same colour:

Same colour, different styles:

Or all different colours (I think it would only work well with a summer wedding with pastel shade dresses)

and my favourite: different shades of same colour

Or have just the maid of honour in a different colour
