I’ve asked my mum to buy the bridesmaids dresses in India. I told her that we decided on the green colour scheme but Im afraid she may buy the wrong shade because green comes in so many varieties. So I went to the local B & Q (Harware/DIY store) where they had all the colour guides. I stole a few to send to my mum and show her the exact shade of green. 

I also spoke to a friend who is a designer and she said that they do something very similar and bring out a whole colour pallette when they are discussing a project with clients.
