This past weekend, my fiance and I went to a local Cash and Carry store in Greenwich to buy our year’s supply of toiletries. Cash and Carry stores offer items at trade prices. The only catch is that you’ll have to buy a whole pack or a lot and you may have to pay a subscription fee. I remember last year, the subscription fee at Costco was £20. Last week, I wrote two posts on how to ask for money. But then I thought about how it would be seen to a wedding guests. My personal opinion is that if you badger on about how you need money then it might irritate your wedding guests. However, if you say something like “You dont need to buy us a present, but if you want to, save your money and just give us cash so we can use it”
