Honeymoon and Travel »
I’ve been thinking about my honeymoon but I’ve been really worried about all the places I can visit because I’m still an Indian citizen and we usually have problems travelling everywhere and anywhere. I’ve been looking online and I found that there are 45 countries and territories that grant visa free or visa on arrival access to ordinary Indian passport holders. However, access is not necessarily a right and admissions may be at the discretion of border enforcement officers. I know for a fact that an Indian can travel to …

Instead of the usual RSVP options of attending or not attending, I scoured the web for creative ways to RSVP. It would make the wedding guests chuckle and show that you have thought about small details for your wedding. Here are some:
* Gladly attend
* Regretfully decline
* Regretfully attend
* Ethusiastically decline
* Will decline to respond but ultimately attend
* Think you are trying to wrest a gift out of me.
This one proved quite popular but I think there are some problems with it. The “Will decline to respond but ultimately attend” still …

Review of “The Wives’ book for the Wife who’s Best in Everything”
This Christmas, my fiance’s sister gave me the book “The Wives’ Book for the Wife who is Best at Everything.” I’ve seen the “Best in Everything” book in other topics so it was a pleasant suprise to receive this one! Its quite a good book with light reading - it has a bit of everything for everyone. It starts by introducing the role of the woman in the early days when there were no electronic devices and how the …

My best friend asked me “When did green become your favourite colour?” because I told her that we’re basing our wedding colour theme on green. We didnt want to pick a colour that was traditionally female or male and chose to stick to a neutral gender sensitive colour like green. I love how green comes in a billion different shades and can look really fresh and fruity. It also ties in really well with our garden outdoor wedding.
Anyways, I’d really like to have my wedding cupcakes in green and since …

Im not sure if green coloured weddings are all the rage of if I notice it more since I’ve chosen the same colour scheme. Perhaps its like a self fulfilling prophesy - I need confirmation that I have made the right decision.
Anyways, I saw these wedding photos on another blog and love the green background and the green bridesmaid’s dresses. The fact that the groomsmen and ushers are not wearing green but actually wearing a shade of yellow also goes well with a green wedding. Enjoy!!
I really like the action …

My fiance’s friend had the logo VT for Vivian and Todd made. I never saw her invitations but she said she had them on the envelope. I think having a logo could add a touch of class and make your invitations stand out. You could make them into a stamp or seal or into a sticker and put them on the invitation itself or on the envelope. Some people have even chosen to design a crest and use it as the family logo for the rest of their lives. The …

So I’ve been searching for wedding shoes as the height of my shoes will affect how I alter it. I’ve been lusting over the Kelis Shoe at Dune. i’ve seen loads of good reviews about the shoe, even from people in the US. They said it was very coutour like and was really cheap for the quality (I think £80)
So I went over to John Lewis last week and asked them about it. They didnt have the shoe there and they said that only one store in Covent Garden had …

I was on another blog and I saw the most creative Save the Date item - these pencils that say “Pencil it in… with the groom and bride’s names and their dates” The couple had a classroom theme and it matches perfectly. I love it!!!! Wish I had done them before I did my fridge magnets… but then again my fiance prefers the fridge magnet over these pencils…

Im a big Gossip Girl fan and last night I watched the wedding of Eleanor and Mr. Rose. It was so wonderful how intimate and simple the ceremony was. The bride and groom said their own vows. Mr. Rose said ‘I take you Elenaor as yourself’ and she said “I am my beloved, my beloved is mine.’
It got me thinking about alternatives to the usual wedding vow - I, (Bride/Groom), take you (Groom/Bride), to be my (wife/husband), to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, …

I’ve been looking at wedding veils ever since my accessories appointment at Pronovias. I was pleasantly suprised by how much they actually cost - well atleast in comparison to the Carolina Castiligiano viel which was a whopping £1,000. My cousin, the designer, calmly said I should just buy it but I think its only because he’s a billionaire compared to me and he actually values the handiwork. Me, I just want something nice and not too expensive as I’ll only be wearing it for walking down the aisle and for …
