I think its a wonderful way to inject some colour on your table and make it look unique. This way you can save on flowers or other table decorations because you already have something colourful and different.

If you are interested in the table runners above and you live in the UK, Zara Homes and The Pier sell them for about £20. But if you ever have the chance to go to India, you could probably buy a sari for about £10 and get a tailor to make a few table runners. I reckon you’ll be able to make about 4 table runners from each sari which is really good value and then you and then you can sell them off to another bride who wants something different and unique for their wedding. I certainly am thinking of doing this myself !
