Wedding Shoes
So I’ve been searching for wedding shoes as the height of my shoes will affect how I alter it. I’ve been lusting over the Kelis Shoe at Dune. i’ve seen loads of good reviews about the shoe, even from people in the US. They said it was very coutour like and was really cheap for the quality (I think £80)

So I went over to John Lewis last week and asked them about it. They didnt have the shoe there and they said that only one store in Covent Garden had my size. I went there a few days later and I was quite disappointed. The shoe is beautiful but for the huge brooch which overwhelms the shoe and makes it a bit OTT. I’m also afraid that the brooch would ruin the delicate lace on the dress so this is a good thing to keep in mind if you’re thinking of buying the shoe as well.
I also went over to Office and Faith and Shuh (the shoe stores on London’s Oxford Street) and none of them were very nice either.
Heres a good chart with different options for wedding shoes:
My friend who got married 5 years ago emailed to ask me if I have bought any accessories to go with the dress. She found them ridiculously expensive as well and went over to buy it from BHS (not an expensive store at all) for £70. She also said it really doesnt matter what you wear underneath because no body really looks to see your wedding shoes at the end of the day.
However, it would be nice if you could buy something you could use again. Keeping that in mind, you probably want to go for something more ivory/champagne colour rather than white as it would be more versatile.
If I had all the money in the world, or maybe just £500 to spare, I’d love to buy a Christian Louboutin Nude shoe like the one below. But then again, I might need to see it in person than just lusting over it online!
