I was on another blog and chanced to see brides opting for black and green and then black and yellow. I know you’re not supposed to wear black to a wedding as its mostly associated with a funeral but these pictures are so good they make me want to tear down all traditions!!! The green really suits a beautiful outdoor wedding. On the other hand, the yellow adds a splash of colour and really makes the wedding look quite sweet and cheerful. Have a look. I’d love to get the flowers like the brides featured below (arent the cupcakes gorgeous?)

Also, have you seen Britney Spears with her kids and mum at her brother’s wedding. They wore black as well and it looked so stylish!!

Some tips from the stylist: 

Identify your color palette and stick to it. Remember you always need an accent color. One main color and 2 accent colors are ideal.

Party Rentals - by selecting a colored or textured linen you get more bang for your buck than spending money on lots of colorful flowers on a white table cloth. The linen color will transform the space immediately and set the tone for your wedding reception.

Choose flowers that are in season and go for a monochromatic look, buying flowers in bulk is less expensive than buying many different types of flowers and my favorite trick is to incorporate fruit in to the centerpieces!
