Make Up Trial
This weekend, my stylist Evan Huang came over to do my make up trial. I was late (as usual) but my lovely fiance picked him up. Before I sound so lovey dovey, I cant believe how practical and proactive my fiance is. He knew I had arranged to pick up my stylist at noon and when I was late, he went over to pick him up. Anyways, after a quick shower and discussion with Evan, I showed him the photos of a few looks I wanted to try. I showed him some celebrities because they are the only ones I found on my favourite perezhilton site.
First, I was thinking of a Drew Barrymore style with the head piece on the side:
Or Jessica Biel’s half hair up do:

Evan suggested that I do hair on the side bun and try one with my hair down. I was initially more in favour of the loose hair down instead because I think it would cover my shoulders when I am wearing my strapless wedding dress. This is the look he was aiming to recreate:

So here is the first look after 2 hours of fussing about. The stylist mixed 4 or 5 types of foundation so that the light would be reflected in different way. It was also the first time I ever wore fake eyelashes – which were divine but really uncomfortable to put off. The result is that he tried to create something that looked very natural:
And then I tried the hair down and didnt like it too much. I think my hair is not long enough for the hair loose style.
