Chinese Flower Table Names
This past weekend, my bridesmaids and I spent making our table name place cards. After much thought about a way to incorporate my fiance’s Chinese heritage, we have decided to use Chinese flowers and a brief description of what the flowers symbolise. These would then match our favours which are Chinese themed. A big THANK YOU to my hard working sisters in law who worked so hard to find the characters online and cut such perfect lines. One of my bridesmaids was so funny, she said “I am a Legend” when she finally found one of the characters by tracing its chinese name.
I’ve also tried to match the place cards to the friends seated at the different flowers. For example, I looooved the significance of lilly, it means 100 years of love. I thought it would be best to keep that for the head table. My fiance often says that he will find me in my next life and marry me as well

So here are the place cards we made in case any other bride wants to copy the idea as well.
