Head Band

18 July 2009 262 views One Comment

Every since I saw the Jenny Packham head bands, I’ve been on the look out for a head band. Considering that Jenny Peckham only introduced these to the market in February, I think they would look very unique on any blushing bride of 2009.

Heres a photo of me in Jenny Packham’s store. The piece is made of Swarowski crystals and hand made in India. The head piece costs a considerable £245:

For brides in America, the company Band. do make these head pieces that I was very close to buying. They retail for $225 and were featured in Instyle Magazine, Modern Bride and People magazine:

The piece is a large, vintage inspired austrian crystal applique on top of an ivory satin headband. The piece is also available on white and black.

The only reservation I had about the Bando piece was that it looked too much like a spider. I also had not checked with my stylist whether this would suit my side bun. I really dont want to look like an over the top bride so I was looking for something simpler. If you have a more simple hair do, I think this piece would be fantastic and really unique.

So yesterday, after work, I was at Canary Wharf and passed by the store Accessorize. I went in and found these gorgeous head bands that I think would be perfect. Moreover, they were 50% off for a grand total of £5. I looove when I find a bargain. So good I even bought it in brown:
