Groomsmen Clothes

30 September 2009 330 views No Comment

Ever cringed looking at groomsmen clothes? My husband was asked to be a best man a few years ago and the bride asked him to change his clothes with the groom. My husband was then dressed in an ugly English suit with light blue waistcoat. I’m sorry but I found it disastrous, something about waistcoats with the funny looking English ties look so ill fitting and chavvy to me. I do hope that brides do not purposely dress their groomsmen in such a bad way to make their husbands look good. At the same time, I understand that they want the groom to stand out.

To avoid that dillemma, my husband bought a new tuxedo and we asked all the groomsmen to wear dark suits. We then bought green ties and cufflinks to match the wedding colours. Im pleased to say that it tied into our wedding theme so well that one of our guests even asked me where I bough the ties from. Im going back to the store to buy him one for his birthday.
