Tiffany Blue and Yellow Theme

So I did a little more research into Tiffany Blue and Yellow (Linda’s original choices) and I found a few to give us some inspiration. I didnt realise that Tiffany Blue could range anywhere from quite a strong blue to a very light pale blue shade and that yellow could also be toned down. Personally, I would prefer lighter colours so they wont be competing for attention in the photos. Also, keep in mind your skin tone and colour. Fairer skinned brides could carry off a very strong colour (think ivory skinned Niole Kidman carrying off a vibrant red head!) whereas darker brides might want to choose lighter colours.

I love this colour scheme because it used only three colours, keeping it simple and sweet.

For the brides looking for a pale yellow with a bright tiffany blue combination, I love the delicate yellow roses and the muted ribbon look. It really allows the tiffany blue to pop out:

However, if you want the yellow to pop out more, try this look:

I found this collage and although the blue isnt very Tiffany blue, I wanted to point out the clever use of daffodils growing. It reminds me of that poem by William Wordsworth:

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Using flowers growing looks so fresh and can be a good way to cut expensive florist fees!

and finally, arent these favour boxes just so elegant?
