Peony Centre Pieces
My favourite thing about June is that it brings peonies. They are my favourite flowers ever because they are just so delicate and full flowers. My only regret is that I didnt have a wedding in June because that is usually Peony season. Last year, there were peonies up to the first week of August. I only saw them in one flowershop in Shad Thames but they had sold out the day before my wedding. The florist said it was unusual for them to last this long so if you love peonies, mark a June/July Wedding. The peak season for British-grown peonies is from mid May to the beginning of July.
Peonies are the ultimate flowers for a romantic summer wedding. The can be used as hand- tied bridal bouquets or for a fabulous centerpiece for the reception. Peony cut flowers are available in a wide range of gorgeous colours so there will definitely be a colour that suits your wedding them – whether you choose pure white, soft pinks, delicate peach or deep pinks and reds.
