I thought this would be an innovative wedding favour – getting towels made. One couple made unique pieces by professionally printed onto high-quality super-soft organic cotton tea towels. Showponey.co.uk can make these if you send them a digital image of you and your groom standing side on so your silhouettes can be accurately traced. The silhouettes will be added to the tea towel along with your names and the date of your wedding. The tea towels are available in 4 colours – Burnt Orange, Maroon, Teal and Grass Green, and the minimum order is 40 tea towels. The company says this is the next big thing! Hmm… marketing ploy? or just another innovative way to make your wedding guests laugh and remember your day.

One downside: its £7.50 per tea towel

For a cheaper option, I found the Original Tea Towel Company who makes these for a one off design cost of £55 and then £2.75 for each towel or £150 for a totally bespoke design. Arent these just gorgeous? I think they could also make great save the date card alternatives!

The best thing about these tea towel favours: they are useful – especially since I make so many cupcakes!
